The position is responsible for the general management of the Scheduled Plan Services (SPS) department, staff and budget. This position will be responsible for developing and recommending policies/procedures that ensure the achievement of departmental covenants, deliverables, and performance expectations. This position will also be responsible for growing and developing staff to ensure optimal employee contribution and retention.

This position will apply experience and judgment regarding the interpretation and application of established policies and procedures. They will also research and present issues of major impact or technical complexity to senior management or refer to the appropriate internal experts for resolution.


  • Draft organizational policies and philosophies
  • Oversee day-to-day business activities.
  • Development of unit/department training
  • Work with Executive VP on department budget
  • Review and implementation of unit/department workflow
  • Establishing goals for team managers and staff
  • Working with vendors and on our systems for efficiencies
  • Ability to work in high level environment, working with clients, brokers, and members.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback.
  • Development and tracking of metrices for units/department.
  • Allocating department resources and collaboration with units of department
  • Provide leadership and training to our team.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field (Preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable providing constructive feedback and administering disciplinary action
  • Ability to adapt personal communication style to fit the needs of the team
