Job Description

The main objective of this position is to oversee the training needs of the entire Employer Services department with respect to processes, compliance, and benefit platforms. This person will support internal staff as well as external customers with training needs. Candidates must possess strong working knowledge of Navia processes and IRC regulations as they relate to the suite of benefits Navia administers. They will identify opportunities for improvement and proactively develop a plan to address those needs. This position will work closely with the department management, however the ability to self-manage, prioritize assigned tasks, and act to achieve goals and objectives is critical to the success of the role.

Essential Functions

  • Train new hires – Facilitate training for all new hires into the Employer services department along with progress checks to ensure new employees are progressing appropriately.
  • Provide onsite training/support for new partners and office locations – may require travel.
  • Build meaningful QA process for Employer services staff members that includes consistent checks for quality and ensuring feedback is delivered and acted upon by members of the team.
  • Review QA results for the team regularly to highlight positives as well as coaching opportunities.
  • Develop opportunities for ongoing training and development of existing staff. Identify needs for external training opportunities.
  • Responsible for process documentation, ensuring that all process within the department are completely documented, organized, and easily accessed by the team. Additionally, this position will be tasked with updating systems with most current information as procedures change.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the file import process and the various types of files that clients send FPS and the roles that they play in active plan administration.
  • Attend benefit fairs and/or open enrollment meetings when needed.
  • Work with account associate to help service clients.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience supporting clients at Navia (preferably with employer services department)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with public speaking
  • Ability to travel to/from client fairs and meetings.
  • Experience with Flexible Spending Arrangements, Health Reimbursement Arrangements, COBRA, Health Savings Accounts, Wellness benefits, and Commuter plans is preferred.
